2015    Mellen Meyer    Pinot Noir Whistling Ridge Vineyard

SCORE: 90

Bright red. Lively, precise and spicy on the nose, displaying fresh red berry and blood orange scents and a hint of succulent herbs. Shows very good energy and lift on the palate, offering bitter cherry and raspberry flavors that become sweeter with air. Gentle tannins shape the nervy finish, which hangs on with strong, fruity tenacity. -- Josh Raynolds

Mellen Meyer Willamette Valley Methode Champenoise Brut Chardonnay/ Pinot Noir

From a small Willamette Valley producer specializing only in sparkling wine try this traditional Chardonnay and Pinot Noir blend for a dry, crisp elegant sparkling at a good price.  Smells of green apples with a salty tart palate.
